Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces The role involves: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks Full-time, day shift.
