Restoration bricklayer — Mungeli

Now hiring: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Mungeli, State of Chhattisgarh. You will work on a commercial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day ₹31,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
