Urgent requirement: we are hiring a carpenter in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. You should bring NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent; physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height; CSCS card for site-based work an advantage. Your main tasks: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails Full-time with occasional weekends.
