On the job you will handle: • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate You should bring basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker; punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it; site safety induction or labour card an advantage.
