Cement mason — Mau

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cement mason in Mau, Uttar Pradesh. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. Day to day you will cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. Ideally you have hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers; physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet; able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules.
