Falsework carpenter — Kanpur

Immediate opening: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Day to day you will repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints.
