Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Longding, State of Arunachal Pradesh. Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Your main tasks: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
