Vacancy available: fettler (State of Tamil Nadu)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fettler in Tirunelveli Kattabo, State of Tamil Nadu. You will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. Ideally you have willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts; able to read simple casting drawings and job cards. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
