Vacancy available: backhoe operator (State of Karnataka)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Chitradurga, State of Karnataka. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. Ideally you have sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing; comfortable with GPS or laser machine control. Day to day you will excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient.
