Great opportunity: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal. The job is at a banquet hall. On a typical shift you will sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass; sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations. You should have: • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Willing to work evenings, weekends and split shifts Rotating shifts.
