Now hiring: we are hiring a pressman in Thane, State of Maharashtra. We are looking for 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory; a keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases; comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment. The role involves: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics PF/ESI and paid leave as per norms.
