Immediate opening: bar bender and fixer (State of Karnataka)

Now hiring: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Bidar, State of Karnataka. You will be based on a busy residential building site. The role involves cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. You should have: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
