Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass fitter in Darjeeling, West Bengal. You will work in a mirror and glass showroom. What we are looking for: • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift Day to day you will secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
