Immediate opening: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Sukma, State of Chhattisgarh. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day to day you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
