Gtaw welder — Kupwara

Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Kupwara, State of Jammu and Kashmir. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Day to day you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 4+ years on the tools preferred. ₹19,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
