Now hiring: lifting rigger (Meghalaya)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lifting rigger in East Garo Hills, Meghalaya. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. You will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; read lift plans and method statements before starting; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. We are looking for able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear; confident with standard crane hand signals; ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
