Day-to-day duties: • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame You should have: • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
