Now hiring: we are hiring a general labourer in Karaikal, Union Territory of Puducherry. You will be based on a road and bridge project. On a typical shift you will erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations. We are looking for basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker; able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
