Now hiring: brick mason (State of Jharkhand)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick mason in Chatra, State of Jharkhand. You will be based at a residential building site. We are looking for able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks; physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day; proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks. On a typical shift you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge.
