Floor and wall tile fitter — Yanam

We are recruiting: we are hiring a floor and wall tile fitter in Yanam, Union Territory of Puducherry. The job is on a new-build housing development. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience On a typical shift you will set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system.
