The role involves key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; set up and start the machine as per the job card; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift.
