Now hiring: stainless steel welder (Uttar Pradesh)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Full-time, day shift.
