Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete worker in Chandigarh, Union Territory of Chandigarh. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. Ideal candidate: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Day to day you will set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer.
