Core maker — The Dangs

Vacancy available: we are hiring a core maker in The Dangs, State of Gujarat. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling You will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
