Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements You will investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
