Gantry crane operator • West Khasi Hills, Meghalaya

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in West Khasi Hills, Meghalaya. The role involves: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Ideally you have proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes; strong attention to safety and load limits; physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around ₹140 per hour, based on your experience.
