On a typical shift you will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling 1+ years on the tools preferred.
