Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in Theni, State of Tamil Nadu. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Your main tasks: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Pay around ₹170 per hour, based on your experience.
