Urgent requirement: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Yanam, Union Territory of Puducherry. The role involves brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured. Requirements: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
