Now hiring: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Dohad, State of Gujarat. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. You should bring knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes; comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium. On a typical shift you will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness.
