Ideally you have basic record-keeping and part-counting skills; willing to work rotating day and night shifts; ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage. You will change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift.
