Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furniture maker in Longleng, State of Nagaland. You will be based in a cabinet-making workshop. Requirements: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height On a typical shift you will apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring.
