Bar bender and fixer • Karbi Anglong, Assam

Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Karbi Anglong, Assam. You will work at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
