Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. We are looking for able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire. Day-to-day duties: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
