Restoration bricklayer wanted in Kodagu

Immediate opening: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Kodagu, State of Karnataka. Day to day you will pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Six days a week, one day off.
