Ideally you have willing to work outdoors in all weather; a driving licence is an advantage for site travel. You will insulate and ventilate the roof void; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling.
