Sand plant operator • Thane, State of Maharashtra

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Thane, State of Maharashtra. On a typical shift you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Ideally you have physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings; able to read simple casting drawings and job cards; experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry.
