Immediate opening: we are hiring a site safety steward in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. You will work in a chemical processing unit. The role involves deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment. Ideally you have able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements; strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
