Great opportunity: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Nainital, State of Uttarakhand. The job is on an export house sewing floor. Day to day you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. You should bring 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory; ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
