Single needle operator — Chennai

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in Chennai, State of Tamil Nadu. You will work on an export house sewing floor. On a typical shift you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Ideally you have understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens; able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown. We offer ₹19,000 per month plus benefits.
