GTAW welder — Lawngtlai

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Lawngtlai, Mizoram. The role involves: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 2+ years on the tools preferred.
