Plasterer's mate — Bishnupur

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Bishnupur, Manipur. The job is at a plastering and dry lining contractor. You will dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
