Core maker • North & Middle Andaman, Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands

We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in North & Middle Andaman, Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Pay around ₹750 per day, based on your experience.
