Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Imphal East, Manipur. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Day-to-day duties: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges You should bring proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium; able to pass a practical weld test on the first day.
