Industrial sewing operator — Tiruvannamalai

Vacancy available: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Tiruvannamalai, State of Tamil Nadu. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines The role involves stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching.
