Restoration bricklayer — Anantnag

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Anantnag, State of Jammu and Kashmir. You will work on a new-build development. The role involves raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts.
