Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Palnadu, State of Andhra Pradesh. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You should bring steady hands and good close-up eyesight; sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection; proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium. Day-to-day duties: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Full-time with occasional weekends.
