Pipe TIG welder • Raichur, State of Karnataka

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Raichur, State of Karnataka. The job is on a structural steel site. You will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 3+ years on the tools preferred.
