Great opportunity: we are hiring a counter butcher in Chikkaballapur, State of Karnataka. You will be based at a halal meat counter. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers The role involves: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Season and marinate meat on request • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date 2+ years on the tools preferred.
