Furnace operator — Tiruchirappalli

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furnace operator in Tiruchirappalli, State of Tamil Nadu. You will be based on the moulding line. On the job you will handle: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring You should bring experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry; willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts; willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor.
